Female bass player wanted for Deptford Beach Babes.
Fun, surf-style, London-based band, half instrumentals, half vocals – influences Trashwomen, Link Wray, Joe Whitney, Treble Spankers. More about enjoyment than ambition, though bassist must be fairly experienced as we have some tricky songs including a John Zorn cover*. Gigs and rehearsals about once a month. Costumes: wigs and grass skirts, or Hawaiian shirts and shades. No guaranteed pay but at the moment we are not out of pocket, doing select gigs only, and possibly going to Germany next year.
