Two gigs within 2 weeks of each other at venues a stones throw from each other. Not very clever unless you have a fan base which will satisfy both gigs. Aorta you are under the microscope.
Bands please note venues will take a very dim view of this if gigs do not work out.
I hope I’m back on here praising Aorta and their sell out shows at the Verge and Bull & Gate in late June. We shall see.

you are a lovely man Andy. We are a last minute band replacement for the verge as we are friends with the promoter. do not fear though, it will all be good. also if a band is going to get better, they have to do more than 20 gigs a year.

I am lovely when people stick to their agreements with us or at least make an effort to keep us informed as to what is going on so we are not kept guessing.
You publicise on our messageboard that you are playing 2 gigs within a fortnight and the second at a venue just down the road as we ask bands who book with us specifically not to and it will send out all the wrong signals.
One gig in Kentish Town and another the next night in Norwich, Manchester, Brighton etc…is not going to affect turnouts two on each others door may well do unless you have a huge fanbase.
Think how many times your favourite bands play in one area a year?
A band will not get gigs if they play too many and venues decide they can not put them on becuase no one is coming to see them.
Just a word of friendly advise that’s all.
As I said I look forward to singing your praises.
