Hi chaps,
I’ve been sent a £50 / £100 penalty charge this morning for unloading outside The Bull & Gate at our last gig !! I was captured on cctv apparently. I moved my car as soon as I had unloaded.
There’s nowhere to park there. If you can’t pull up just to unload then how can you play the gig ?
I’m well annoyed. Do you think I should appeal ? I certainly wasn’t the only one and I’ve been unloading there for the past 10 years !!
Anyone else had this problem ?

Sorry to hear that.
There is parking meters round the side of the Forum.
We will get a trolly to help bands load in from there.
Anybody else with a similar tale please add to this post and if there’s enough I will pass them on to the Landlord of the venue and see what can be done.
The problem in loading into the side of teh venue and parking cars is that the passage way there belongs to the piano business behind the pub and they will not allow cars to block the passage way at any time.
We know there is a problem here and we are working on it.

Cheers for the reply.
Unfortunately, on that particular night the parking meters at the side of The Forum were covered up because there were roadworks on that road.
I’m not sure how Camden council can justify persecuting musicians who make the borough the capital of live music in Britain.
